La Nuit de la Magistrale, NDLM, is a renewed version of the event “the Ball of EPFL graduates”. This event took place until 2019 in Lausanne Palaces (Lausanne Palace, Beau-Rivage Palace, Royal Savoy…)
In the early 2010s, entry prices for this event were very high, enough to deprive a majority of graduates of a memorable and more than deserved evening. Subsequently, the prices were lowered, but a lack of funds and no dedicated team made that the event failed to attract more graduates and lost momentum.
The Nuit de la Magistrale was created to renew this Graduation Ball which is now an event open to all.
The first NDLM in 2021 was a success. After a gastronomic meal, the recent graduates and their friends and family were able to join the festive evening, strong of its generational mix, as it is open to the entire campus. Following a successful first edition, our goal is to make it even more attractive and refined. We want it to become a must at EPFL.
